Curriculum vitae

Graduated from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 1990. From 1995 works as engineer at experimental physics division of physics department. From 2004 – junior researcher, researcher. Has defended PhD theses “Spectral properties of functional pelectron containing molecular systems with directed transfer of electron excitations ” in 2004.

Scientific interests

    1. Investigation of energetic structure of organic functional macromolecules and biological objects. 2. Study of the electron excitations transfer processes and (photo)degradation of functional synthetic and biological macromolecules.
    3. Nanoelectronics and nanophotonics.
    4. Investigation of spectral manifestation of organic sensor systems functioning.
Main results of scientific work: founded spectral optical manifestations of the self-defense mechanism of DNA macromolecule from external negative affects, which consists in electron excitations transfer at photochemically stable centers, namely at adenozine links and complexes, appearing in AТ-sequences of DNA macromolecule. Realized the design, investigation and testing of the properties of functional molecular compounds, containing 2, 3 and 12 chromophor-containing links, proved the possibility of these compounds using in organic nanoelectronics. On the base of the data, obtained by spectroscopic methods, suggested method of express estimation of the natural water purity with the help of polymer sensors-sorbents, having the spectral manifestation (optical response). An author of 107 scientific publications (29 papers in scientific journals and 78 abstracts at international conferences). Laureate of the scholarship of Cabinet of Ministries of Ukraine for young scientists (2005); Award of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2007).
